Longarm Rental

If you would like to save a bit of money and complete your own quilts on a longarm sewing machine, The Lofty Cotton Co studio is home to a Grace Q'Nique 15R available for rental. 

Small and sturdy, this little champ on her 8ft frame can help you turn those patchwork works of art into huggable blankets in no time at all. This machine is equipped for standard free motion quilting, ruler work and pantographs.

A one-off, approximately 2 hour training session costing £40, covering threading, loading, tension and general machine use is required regardless of longarm experience. Once this training is complete the machine will then be available for you to book by the hour going forward.

Longarm rental sessions include full use of the studio including standard sewing machine use, Glide thread, needles and use of the longarm machine. Sessions can be booked in 1 hour blocks at £15 per hour. Booking at least a 2 hour block is recommended to allow for loading and unloading of your quilt. If your project is taking a little longer than expected any time beyond the booked amount is charged in 30min increments.
